libevent-rpc-perl software package provides Event based transparent Client/Server RPC framework, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libevent-rpc-perl
libevent-rpc-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libevent-rpc-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libevent-rpc-perl *
You will get with libevent-rpc-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
